The Hawaii Real Estate Commission requires every licensee to complete 20 hours of approved continuing education courses for each two-year license period (January 1 of odd-numbered years through December 31 of even-numbered years); also referred to as the licensing biennium.
Current biennium: January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2020
CE requirements: 6 core credits and 14 elective credits
Most classes advertised count towards continuing education and will indicate whether the class offers Elective or Core credits in the description. For example “3 Elective CE” indicates 3 continuing education elective credits.
To find out how many credits you have or when your license expires, check your education history online at https://pvl.ehawaii.gov/rece/app/welcome.html.
