Oversees the needs of Affiliate members; assists in fundraising projects; encourages and promotes Affiliate Membership.
Recommends topics and instructors for continuing education courses, training seminars, and general membership meetings.
Affects public policy to benefit homeownership and private property rights, working with government, association membership, the general public, and community partners.
Receives ethics complaints and arbitration requests to determine if, taken as true on their face, a hearing is to be warranted.
Coordinates and implements the Association's annual event installing new officers and directors of the board.
Legal counsel, as retained by the Association, attends the RAM Board of Directors’ Meetings to keep our members informed and up-to-date on legal issues of concern and importance.
Conducts mediation requests.
Improves member professionalism by providing communication channels and encouraging member engagement.
Develops and implements the policies and procedures which oversee and govern the operation of the MLS.
Conducts hearings for ethics complaints and arbitration requests in accordance with the established procedures of the NAR Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual.
Develops ideas, articles, and features to enhance and promote the REALTOR® image within the community.
Promotes the use of technology to increase efficiency and provide cost efficient programs, products, and services for association members.
Supports Maui County public schools by providing materials, monetary donations, and equipment in order to improve the education experiences and opportunities of students.
Promotes a collegial work environment within the young professional real estate community, providing a safe place for communication with questions, ideas, and masterminding.
