How CE Works for the January 1, 2009 - November 30, 2010 CE Biennium:

IMPORTANT: Check your CE status on the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) website before registering for classes. Make sure you know:

  1. How many credits you have already taken, and still need to take.
  2. What classes you have, and have not, taken.

Because...

  • You need 10 CE credits to complete your State of Hawaii requirement to maintain your license for the current biennium.
    • You must take the Core Course 2009 Part A and 2010 Part B; which will total 4 CE credits
    • You will then need 6 more elective CE credits
  • If you have taken a specific class within the past 10 years for CE credit you may not take that same class again for CE credit, unless it has been changed significantly. Usually if a class has been changed the course title will be different. If you still need to see if a class has been changed check with the Real Estate Comission at 984-2400 + 62643#.
