RAM Dispute Resolution

Do you have a grievance against a REALTOR® member of the REALTORS® Association of Maui?
(RAM does not have jurisdiction over a real estate licensee who is not a member.)

You have 180 days to file.

The following document will provide a brief overview of the process:

Flow Chart for Ethics Complaints & Arbitration Requests

For further details, please refer to the applicable documents below. Thereafter, if you believe you are within the filing period, and you have questions or would like to file an official ethics complaint and/or a mediation or arbitration request, contact Amy Johnson at (808) 270-4600 or Amy@RAMaui.com.

If you believe that a REALTOR® violated the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®, review the following two documents:

1.  Before You File an Ethics Complaint
2.  Ethics Complaint Process Overview

If the conclusion of the transaction or event occurred in 2016, download:  2016 Code of Ethics & Standards of Practice
If the conclusion of the transaction or event occurred in 2017, download:  2017 Code of Ethics & Standards of Practice

Ethics complaints must be filed with the REALTORS® Association of Maui within one hundred eighty (180) days from the time that the alleged offense and facts relating to it could have been known by the complainant in the exercise of reasonable diligence, or within one hundred eighty (180 days) after the conclusion of the transaction OR EVENT, whichever is later.
